Chana Koliwada recipe| spicy for mumbai - style snake

 Chana Koliwada is crispy , spicy , and tangy snack that comes straight from bustling streets 
Of mumbai . Inspired by the famous fish Koliwada from Maharashtra koli fishing community this vegitarian uses chickpeas chana instead of fish making it perfect for tea 
Time snack or as per party starter.



Ingredients:

1 cup boil chickpeas   (Kabuli chana)

2 tsp gram flour (besan)

2 tsp rice flour ( chawal ka atta)

1 tsp corn flour

1 tsp red chilli powder

1/2 turmeric powder

1/2 gram masala

1tsp chaat masala

1tsp ginger garlic

1tsp lemon juice

Salt to taste

Water as needed




Method:

In a bowl ,add boiled chickpeas , ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, red chilli powder, 
Turmeric garam masala and salt mix well and set as side for 15 min

In another bowl , mix gram flour,rice flour,cornflour ,chaat masala ,and little water 
To make thick coating better 
  

Marinate chickpeas to the better , ensuring 
Each chana coated well heat oil in a 
Deep pan and fry the chana until golden brown and crispy


Serve hot with mint chutney , tamarind chutney or ketchup 



Pro tips for perfect chana Koliwada

 ðŸŒ¸  Boil chana until just tender  _ don't over cook or they will turn mushy 

🌸Rice flour ensure crispiness , so don't skip it 

🌸 Fry on medium flame for even cooking
