Lauki ke kofte






Introduction:
Lauki ke kofte ek rich or creamy curry hai jisme soft bottel gourd (lauki )ke balls spicy
Onion. Tomato gravy mein simmer  kiye jate 
Hain.yeh ek perfect recipe hai jab aap kuch different aur healthy banana chahein.
Especially for dinner parties aur special weekends.

Ingredients:

For kofta:

2 cups grated louki (bottel gourd)

4 tbsp besan (gram flour)

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

Salt to taste

Oil for deep frying

For gravy:

2 medium onion (chopped)

2 tomato puree

1tsp ginger garlic paste

1/2 tsp turmeric

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp garam masala 

Salt to taste

Oil

Fresh coriander leaves

Instructions:

Step :1 prepare koftas

Greate the lauki squeeze out the extra water

Add besan,turmeric, red chilli powder,and salt 

Mix well and make a small balls.

Deep fry them in hot oil until  golden brown

Keep a side

Step :2 make curry

Heat oil in a pan add  chopped onion and saute till golden

Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute

Add turmeric powder,red chilli, coriander powder stir well 

Add tomato puree and cooked until oil start separate

Add salt and garam masala ,add a little water to make a curry

Step :3 Add kofta

Gently add fried koftas into the gravy

Simmer for 3- 4 minutes on low heat

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves

Serve hot with:

Roti or phulka

Jeera rice 


Tips: 

Don't over fry koftas ;they should remain soft inside


You can also shallow- fry or air-fry koftas for healthy version

Lauki water can be used in gravy to retain nutrients
